Thanksgiving 2014 thoughts

   I mentioned this morning in conversation that Thanksgiving isn't a once a year thing to me...I am so grateful for so much in my life that not a single day goes by that I don't think on the things and people that are such a vital part of my life...that give it the spice and excitement and joy and peace. Back in the olden days of my childhood Thanksgiving meant a huge family feast, along with a bunch of fun traditions and lots of Aunts, Uncles and cousins...and lots of good memories to last through the years.

Today Thanksgiving is still a very special day to me...because it brings to focus the people, memories, and things in life that make it so meaningful to me. For the people who take the time to be a part of my life...or add to the memories...or share their thoughts and feelings back...I realize how precious time....and family...and friends are. I am so blessed to have some very special family and friends in my life. Facebook has given me back some of my lost cousins, Aunts and Uncles, and old friends...and helped me find new friends, family and cousins that I didn't even know existed! (exciting!) besides catching up with old ones. It also makes it possible to be in touch with family that lives far from home...and to let them know they are in my thoughts and heart. So here is a shout out to each and everyone of you who are in my life and in my heart.
