memorial day post in memory of Ruth Stapleman Cook

         

Sometimes I think of something that would be a good thing to do... and then I kind of drop the ball...I was thinking about those who served in the military from our family...and wanted to honor some of them in a post and then I didn't. One of the people that I wanted to share with you was my mother's first mother...she got adopted while her mom was in the military which was a pretty steep price to pay for serving the country...so here is a photo of Ruth Violet Stapleman Cook ...I know memorial day is a few weeks ago but feel it is never too late to pay tribute....Photo of Ruth with her brother Melvin.
